LLDPE Plain Hose Pipe (12mm)
Description
Available in Class 1 & Class 2, made of high grade 100% virgin polyethylene conforming to Indian standard IS:12786. Resistant to chemicals and fertilizer used in agriculture. It is used as lateral pipe in various micro irrigation systems such as Drip, Micro Sprinkler, Micro Sprayer, Jets, Foggers etc...
Sizes: 12 mm, 16 mm & 20 mm
LLDPE Plain Hose Pipes (12 mm) are flexible, low-density polyethylene tubes manufactured for agricultural micro-irrigation, horticulture, and commercial watering systems.
Core Specifications & Features
Size & Dimensions: Has an outer/nominal diameter of 12 mm (also commonly produced in 16 mm and 20 mm variants for higher flow capacities).
Material Composition: Made from high-grade, 100% virgin Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) conforming to standards such as IS:12786.
UV & Weather Resistance: Treated with carbon black or UV stabilizers to withstand long-term outdoor exposure and prevent environmental degradation.
Chemical Resistance: Highly resistant to soil chemicals, fertilizers, pesticides, and acidic/alkaline water solutions used in fertigation.
Primary Applications
Lateral Lines in Drip Irrigation: Serves as the lateral feeder pipe to connect mainlines to individual drippers, micro-sprinklers, jets, or foggers.
Greenhouses & Polyhouses: Delivers precise irrigation and misting across crop rows without leaking or bursting under normal operating pressure.
Gardens & Landscaping: Flexible enough to route through residential lawns, potted plants, and terrace gardens.
Key Advantages
High Flexibility: Easy to bend around obstacles and lay along soil contours without cracking or requiring extra elbow joints.
Puncture & Crack Resistance: Offers strong environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR) compared to standard low-grade polyethylene.
Smooth Internal Flow: The smooth inner wall reduces friction losses, maintaining uniform water pressure throughout long lateral runs.
